Thousands of butterflies take flight in Olbrich's tropical conservatory in July, creating the perfect opportunity to photograph some of the most colorful insects around! Join us for a lecture to discuss macro concepts, equipment, and the challenges associated with fast-moving subjects, then practice your photography skills in the tropical conservatory. This workshop is suitable for photographers of any skill level. Suggested equipment: DSLR or mirrorless camera, flash with off camera cord (unless your camera is equipped to fire flash wirelessly), macro or close focusing lens. Tripods are not needed. Bring a bag lunch.
