Our Blooming Butterflies event offers a unique opportunity to photograph some of the most colorful insects around in a tropical environment. Learn more about macro concepts and equipment as we focus on the challenges associated with fast moving small subjects. Suggested equipment includes a DSLR or mirrorless camera, flash with off camera cord or wireless, and a macro or close focusing lens. Cell phones are welcome, but not all classroom info will apply. Please do not bring a tripod. There will be time to eat while getting cameras ready for the active photography portion of the class so packed a lunch along with your camera.
