Immerse yourselves in a world of intricate surfaces. Learn to represent, furry, rugged, prickly, shiny, and dull textures with thread, yarn and other unusual materials. Learn to recreate nature in all its infinite variety! All levels are welcome, but a love for stitch and textiles is necessary.
Materials required for class:
- Embroidery floss
- Regular thread
- Pearl cotton
- Any yarn
- Fabric scraps. Some easy to fray
- Plastic bags ( 4 or 5 in different colors)
- Pipe cleaners (4 or 5 any color)
- Beads any type
- Tube beads
- A handful of stuffing
- A handful of wool roving any color
- Tights material
- Fabric marker
- 12" x 12" white cotton canvas (denim weight)
