Gardens offer a year-round feast for the eyes, but what about our ears? This class examines the ecological, musical, and meditative practices of listening, and briefly discusses techniques for making audio recordings. After exploring the history and properties of sound, we will take a guided sound walk to reflect on our natural, cultural, and personal soundscapes.
