Are you inspired by knitted items made with more than one color? This workshop will cover different methods used when knitting with more than one color, including stranded (or fair isle) knitting, double knitting, mosaic (or slip stitch) knitting, entrelac knitting, and modular knitting. Having background knowledge of how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off will be beneficial for this class.

Ages 13 and up (Adult and Youth)
This class will be held at Olbrich Botanical Gardens on Tuesdays, October 4-25, 6-8 p.m.
We are currently following local public health guidelines, so masks/face covers are not required at this time.
Skills needed: know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off
Materials needed for first class session:
- Fingering weight yarn – two colors. Should include one light color if possible.
- Size 2 or 3 knitting needles
- Several stitch markers
- Paper for taking notes
- Pen or pencil
- Stitch markers appropriate for your needles
- Any of your other usual knitting supplies that you would like to bring
