Native grasses and sedges are important components of ecologically valuable landscapes and aesthetically engaging gardens.  Native grasses and sedges are adaptable and reliable and help to provide a full season of garden benefits, starting from the fresh, green, living mulch of early spring to the tawny textures and subtle timbres of late winter.  Plants from both of these botanical families can help to ground a garden with a sense of place.  Join us for a walk through the Gardens, and we will look at some of the best native grasses and sedges.
