In this three-part class, we will split time each session reading and discussing poetry from one of Mary Oliver’s most flower-centric collections of poetry, Blue Iris, then learning how to use roses as art and expression with a professional florist. By the final class, we hope that participants will be willing to share their own flower poem and take home their own rose or arrangement. The instructor will send along a pdf. attachment with common reading before each class.

This class will be held at Olbrich Botanical Gardens on Sundays, November 6-20, 1-3 p.m.

We are currently following local public health guidelines, so masks/face covers are not required at this time.
