Make your own coiled basket using pine needles and sweetgrass! Spend an engaging day exploring the creative possibilities of this traditional skill as you design and complete your basket. Herbalist Linda Conroy will guide and instruct you on how to coil and stitch a simple basket as well as integrate other materials into your basket such as black walnut hull, pine cone, beads, and more. This class is the perfect opportunity for both new or experienced weavers to begin or expand on their skills.

Bring your reading glasses, a thimble, and a sharp pair of small scissors, all other supplies are provided.

This class will be held at Olbrich Botanical Gardens on Saturday, October 29, 10:30-4:30 p.m.
